ABOUT OUR BUSINESS
We are proud to present our secondhand clothing business called AKA Fashion. The idea behind this business is very simple, and stems from our love and passion for clothes, as well as for protecting the environment. AKA Fashion aims to reduce the environmental impact caused by overproduction and overconsumption caused by the fashion industry, which is responsible for 10% of humanity’s carbon emissions. Clothing production has roughly doubled since 2000, and now is the time to put an end to this. All too often we see people buy clothes to keep up with the latest trends, which end up in their wardrobes after a few weeks, never to be worn again. Many high street brands, whose names we don’t feel comfortable sharing, put out around 24 collections a year.
